Midwest Spaghetti recipe
If you love spaghetti, then you know how a recipe can make all of the difference to the final outcome. Even if you love all of the different spaghetti dishes that you have ever tried, you will want to try this recipe. This is one dish that you will be able to make for your family knowing that they will eat everything that you put on their plate. Even the pickiest eaters in your family will eat all of this great Midwest spaghetti.
Ingredients List:
4 cloves of garlic
2 pounds of ground beef
1 large onion, finely chopped
3 15 ounce cans of tomato sauce
1/4 cup of cider vinegar
1/3 cup of brown sugar
2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp of cloves
1/2 tsp of ground allspice
1 cup of finely chopped celery
Salt, to taste
1 large can of mushrooms, drained
Directions:
The first thing that you are going to do is to brown the garlic in 1 tablespoon of salad oil over a medium heat. Then you will want to discard the garlic. Now go ahead and add in your ground meat and salt, 1/2 cup water and cook. When the meat is just about half way done, add in the onions and cook until it is done. Now you will add in the remaining ingredients, except for the mushrooms, and cook until it is nice and thick. This should take about 1 ½ to 2 hours. Once it is nice and thick then you will add in your mushrooms.
This is a great dish for anyone to know how to make because it is such a crowd pleaser. This is one meal that you can serve knowing that you aren't going to have any complaints coming at you from anyone. This is also one meal that you can prepare without a lot of work. It's nice to be able to prepare a great meal in an easy manner and still have everyone who tastes it being very happy. You will want to make sure that you serve it with some delicious garlic bread, this will further add to everyone's enjoyment and the sauce tastes great when you dip garlic bread into it.
