Ingredients List:

2 pounds of Italian sausage with the casings removed
1 small chopped onion
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 28 ounce can of diced tomatoes
2 6 ounce cans of tomato paste
2 15 ounce cans of tomato sauce
2 cups of water, simmered for awhile
3 tsp of basil
2 tsp of dried parsley flakes
1 ½ tsp of brown sugar
1 tsp of salt
½ tsp of crushed red pepper flakes
¼ tsp of ground black pepper
1 pound of thin spaghetti
A can of Parmesan Cheese

Directions:

The first thing that you will do is to take out a large stockpot and brown the sausage, make sure that you break it up quite a bit while you are cooking it. Now you will go ahead and add in the onions and continue to cook it, make sure that you continue stirring it occasionally until the onions are softened. Now you will add in the garlic, tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce and the water. Go ahead and add in your basil, parsley, brown sugar, salt, crushed red pepper, and black pepper. Stir this very well and barely bring it to a boil. Simmer it on low, stirring it frequently for at least an hour. A longer simmer makes for a better sauce, just be careful not to burn it.

Now you will want to cook the spaghetti by following the directions labelled on the package. Once the spaghetti is cooked you will want to drain and rinse it, then spoon the sauce onto it and put a little Parmesan cheese on the top. You can serve this spaghetti with great tasting garlic bread and a salad. It will make a big hit with everyone that tries it, the flavor is delicious and it makes for a very filling meal.
