Spaghetti Oh! recipe

When dinner time comes around, you may find yourself scrambling around trying to find something that you can make knowing that everyone in the family will enjoy it. This great Spaghetti recipe will be just the thing for you to make. You will find that it has a very nice flavoring that will have your family requesting it time and time again.

Ingredients List:

1 small onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 egg
1/3 cup of breadcrumbs
1 tbsp of fresh parsley
1 tsp of dried oregano
1 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of fresh black pepper

TOMATO SAUCE:
2 tbsp of olive oil
2 small onions, finely chopped
4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
4 28 ounce cans of plum tomatoes
2 tsp of salt
1 tsp of fresh black pepper
One bunch fresh basil, chopped

Directions:

The first thing that you want to do is to preheat your oven to 400F. Then you are going to finely chop the onion and garlic and place it into a mixing bowl. Now you will want to add all of the other ingredients in and mix it by hand until it is well blended. Now you are going to roll the mixture into 1-inch balls. Now you will place the meatballs onto a tray and bake it in oven for 10 minutes, or until meatballs are nice and browned.

Now you are going to heat the olive oil in large and heavy-bottomed pot over a medium heat. Now you will want to add in the onions and garlic and sauté it until lightly browned. Next you will want to add the crushed plum tomatoes, breaking tomatoes with the back of a wooden spoon. Finally, add in the seasoning and bring it to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer the sauce for 20 minutes, take a taste and see if you need to add in any salt and pepper. Place the browned meatballs into the sauce and simmer it for an additional 15 minutes. You will want to serve this on some already cooked spaghetti. You may also want to serve garlic bread as a side with this dish, the two go great together. This is one meal that will surely make a big hit around your home. If you have people coming to dinner, consider making this dish.
