Super Easy Sausage Spaghetti recipe
People seem to live very busy lives these days that keeps them away from home for long hours each day. This can make it very hard for someone to throw together a nice dinner for their family. Ingredients List:
1 pound of Italian sausage
2 cloves of minced garlic
28 ounces of canned crushed tomatoes
A bit of salt and pepper
12 ounces of vermicelli
3 ounces of Parmesan cheese
Directions:
The first thing that you are going to do is to make sure that if you are using sausage links, cut them in thin disks or remove the casings and then crumble the meat into a large, deep skillet. You will want to cook them over moderately high heat. Then you will want to add in the garlic as it is cooking. If the meat is in slices, then make sure that you add the garlic near the end of it cooking so that the garlic doesn't burn. Now you are going to go ahead and add in the tomatoes and simmer it for 15 minutes, make sure that you stir it occasionally. You will want to take a taste of it and then add salt and pepper.
Meanwhile, you will also want to be bringing a large pot of water to a boil. Make sure that you add in about a teaspoon of salt and the vermicelli. Cook the vermicelli for about five minutes or until it is done to your desired taste. Then you will want to drain it and top it with the sauce. Finally, you will want to be sure that you sprinkle on some of the Parmesan cheese. This dish tastes great, especially if you serve it with some tasty garlic bread. This is one meal that your whole family will love and the best part of all is that it so easy for you to prepare. You will also find that this meal can be put in the refrigerator and warmed up later for leftovers.
